It all started with one little mastiff two years ago. We had heard of the "Gentle Giants" and were intrigued. We knew we wanted a large dog, but we did not want to have to worry about some of the liabilities of many of the larger, more notorious, breeds. We are very family-oriented and have a house full of family and friends at all times. So we wanted a companion who would welcome friends, yet keep others away with their size. |
 | Soon after Sweet Pea settled in, we decided she needed a friend to help keep her company. Thats where Diesel came into the picture. They have been best buds since. Our mastiffs are truly companion dogs. They live in the house with us, watch tv with us, sit on our laps, and thrive for attention. They have never been destructive of our property and are rarely annoying. They are as active as we want them to be, content hanging out, but more than willing to take a walk around the neighborhood. |

We work from home, so our dogs are rarely alone. This is the mug that watches me throughout the day. Coming over for an occasional pat on the head, but understanding that I have work to do.
